What an incredible experience had by the smaller of our local Karuah Pearls Netball Club (KPNC).
Aged 6-10, ours Dolphins with a few Opals in tow, travelled to Sydney to play Curtain Raiser to the official NSW Swifts Vs Sunshine Coast Lightning’s game played at the Ken Rosewall Arena.
The invitation to participate was extended by Netball NSW and NSW Swifts.
The game showcased our local communities next generation along with their growing talent.
KPNC is creating opportunities, while shining light on the importance of pathways to greater participation and inclusion in sport.
A proud moment for our club and our community as the team represented our community with pride, showing resilience and strength beyond their years.
Congratulations team we are proud of the impact you made and will continue to make, as you continue to learn and grow.
Further to this excitement our Opals (Intermediate 5) participated recently in the Port Stephens Netball Association, Annual Junior Carnival. Where the team played with heart and enjoyed a fun filled day of netball.
Well done Karuah Pearls Netball Club, keep being the AMAZING club you are!
