About Karuah Rural Fire Service

Karuah Rural Fire Brigade is a New South Wales Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) unit located in the Lower Hunter area. All our members are volunteers both men and women from the local who donate their time 24 hours a day 365 days a year to serve and protect the local community

We train regularly to fight bush fires, grass fires, building and grass fires, as well as attending motor vehicle accidents

If you are interested in becoming a firefighter with the brigade we encourage you to visit one of our training sessions commencing at 9 am every 2nd Sunday or attending our general meeting on the 1st Wednesday of each commencing at 7pm or if you are unable to attend at either of these times please contact Lower Hunter Fire Control on (02) 4015 0000 and express your interest in joining the Karuah brigade

 

When We Meet

1st Wednesday of the month, Sunday for training 9-12 and Wednesday 10-12 for maintenance
